Windows Office 2007

Postby Mercy =^_^= on Dec 31st, 2009, 11:26 am

Is anyone having issues with current courses in downloading Office 2007 documents and reading them in the 2000 version?

I have a reader to do this, but I guess my concern is, is having to buy a program for future class purposes that I cannot really afford.

I am just wondering if I should figure out a way to get this new Windows Office program so I can have the updated Word, Excel and whatnot or just continue on with what I have?

I have office 2007 and have no problems so far...are you using a 2000 program? I do have a microsoft office that I might be able to give you the product code for...I have used it 2 times, and my old laptop was stolen so when I purchased the new lap top office came with it. If I am right I think you can load the key code to up to 5 computers...have you tried tech support as well?

Ya, I am using office 2000, there have been a few times when the instructors want us to download something and I have a hard time reading it since they are using office 2007. I now have a reader for 2007, but I would feel more comfortable if I just had the program. No, I haven't tried tech support...not sure they can help with the fact that I just simply have an older program.

Mercy,

I am so sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I do not know if you need the disk for it, but I do have the product key code. Just send me an email and I will be happy to give it to you...nothing in return..Just helping a fellow student out. =) If you do need the disk let me know and I can mail it to you. My email is kealy63@att.net

Try OpenOffice. It is free and should be able to open those docs.

It's not a matter of opening the files. I will just have to break down and pay for the program.
