I have added the ability for users to have their own blogs.

Blogs are very "trendy" right now and their popularity is growing every day. If you look in the "Forum Navigation" drop down menu you will now see Blogs Main page which will take you to the main listing for the blogs, showing a summary of recent posts, comments and also links to your blog features. Within your user control panel settings you will see a link to your Blog Settings. This will allow you to set up the features for your blog, pick a layout from the available themes etc. and finally, if you look again at the Forum Navigation drop down you will see a link for Blogs User List which will take you to a page listing all the users who have blogs with a summary of their last posts and over various information.

There are also links in members profiles as well as a link to a users blog by their member information on each post they make in the forum. If anyone has any questions about the use or features of the blogs, please don't hesitate to ask me. Whether you wish to blog about your educational experiences, issues that interest you or random thoughts, I hope you find the blogs useful, enjoyable and convenient.

Blog features and information

1. Categories can be made with unlimited subcategories and branching.
2. Each user has their own page to which they may post new blogs to.
3. Comments can be made to blogs.

User Permissions:

1. Users can set permissions for other users on a global or per blog basis, letting you decide if you want other users to not see the blog, be able to see and read the blog, or be able to see, view, and reply to the blog. Users can set options for 4 "groups", Guests, Friends, Foes, and everyone else.

Subscriptions:

1. Users can subscribe to receive updates via PM or Email when a new reply is posted to a blog or a new blog is posted by a user.

Feeds:

1. RSS/ATOM/Javascript output feeds

Search System:

1. Users can search for text within blogs and blog replies.

Attachments:

1. An attachments system exactly like the one included in the forum.

Polls:

1. The same as polls for the forum.
