I just wanted to take a few minutes to update you on some improvements/upgrades I have made to the site over the past day or two. (also why I haven't been very active on the boards. Here is the short list of the recent additions.
- 1. Altered the registration process for security and to stop spammers from ruining our home
2. Upgraded the chat.
3. Added a "Whos Chatting and upcoming birthdays area to the bottom of the main page.
4. Added a "perk" if you notice the Moola section on your profiles as well as on post pages, member lists etc.. that amount will increase every time you post, reply, add an attachment, vote in a poll and so on. Every time you do something on the forum, you get Moola for it, eventually it will evolve into a reward system of some sort.
5. Added the ability to refer friends. If you recommend this site to a friend, tell them you enter your user name on the registration page and you will get credited with one "referral" for each member that signs up. (will also evolve into a reward system) For now, take advantage of it and see who can accumulate the most Moola and get the highest number of referrals
6. Added the arcade, i see some are already playing it.. loads of fun and I will be adding new games every Monday.
7. News feed on the top if the main page. Latest news from various sources will rotate in that area, you can click on a headline and another window will open with the full story on the providers site. Very easy way to stay current without a lot of effort.
I have many more "projects" in the oven and will update here as I complete them. I hope everyone is enjoying the site so far, thanks again for joining our community.
