After you create the reference page from "Citations made easy" tutorial, your list will look the example below. Per the Axia guidelines for APA, the list must use hanging indentions. Word 2007 will not automatically format the list that way.
Place your cursor in front of the first source on the second line, as shown by the red arrows below. Then, click, hold and slide the BOTTOM arrow on the ruler to the half inch mark. Repeat for each source.
**NOTE: You must slide the bottom arrow from the arrow itself NOT THE BOX UNDER IT. They will move together when you use the arrow.
The ruler will look like the example below. Remember you have to repeat the steps for EACH source.
When you are done, the reference page will look like the example below!! PERFECT!
**NOTE: I suggest waiting to the very end of your editing process to format the hanging indentions. If you click on the "UPDATE BIBLIOGRAPHY" button to add a new source, formatting will be lost and you will have to repeat the process.
