AxiaStudent.com • Hey all! : Introductions

Hey all!

Please take a minute to tell us a little about yourself.

Hey all!

Postby loca84 on Sep 30th, 2008, 4:14 pm

First of all I would like to say thank you so much for making this site! I think that this will be very helpful to students like myself :) .

I am new to U o P. I am in my 1st block, 4th week...so that is com 140 and gen 105. So far I am liking it. I never thought to do college online before. But I am thrilled to finally be able to get some school done. I am going for my AA in Healthcare Administration. I will continue with U o P for my BA in Healthcare and hope to go all the way for a Masters in it. I am a military wife and have 3 beautiful kids. I find myself balancing everything but it is fitting in perfectly so far. I love doing school online because if ever we get stationed anywhere else, school can always come with me. Any question just ask :)

Nani,
I was an Army wife for 10 years and I know the challenges that can come with balancing everything between work, children and the fear that comes with being being an Armed Services wife when your spouse is deployed. I commend you on going to College!

Nani,
I am no longer married to him, unfortunately we both changed. He saw things in Iraq that changed who he was, we tried for a while, though things could not help such as counseling. Though I have heard that has remarried now and has a daughter, I am not sure if he is still in the Army but hopefully his new family can make him forget all that he sees when he is deployed. Anyway, I now live in Tucson, Arizona.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that! I know a very close friend who is going through some trying times with her husband. He just got back almost a year ago and they are really trying to keep it together! It is tough out there and I'm sure the things that our soldiers see over there are unforgetable. Tucson is nice! i've driven through there!
