My name is Erin Nicole Ingram and I am 25 years old. I was born in Kingman, Arizona, however I have never been back therefore I consider my hometown to be where I grew up and where most of my family lives in Kerrville, Texas. My family and I live in Wilmer, Texas which is south of Dallas. I have been married now to my wonderful husband for three years and we have two daughters, Alexis, who is six years old, and Marissa, who is two years old. I am currently a stay at home mom, and my husband works as project manager at a company that makes jewelry cabinets.
We moved to Dallas in April of 2006 from Kerrville after my husband got laid off from working at a company that builds airplanes. Thank goodness he found a job two days later on monster.com here in Dallas. Shortly after we moved here we came into contact with Historymaker Homes and we had a three bedroom house built which we moved into in January of 2007. I am happier today then I have ever been, but I want more out of life now for me and for my family and I know that the only way to do that is to get a college education. So now I am working toward getting my Associate's degree in Human Services Management and will probably (though not completely confirmed yet) attend the University of North Texas and get my Bachelors in Social work then my masters to be a Child Protective Services Social Worker.
This is something that I never thought that I would do, but after my husband mentioned it, and after a lot of soul searching, it seems like it is just the career that God has prepared me for all of my life. Now I am doing something that I never thought that I would do and getting a college education. I want to make a positive difference in the world and in other people’s lives and I want a career that will bring me satisfaction. So here I am!
To those of you that I have never met it is a pleasure to meet you and to those of you who I already know from previous classes it is a pleasure to see you again!

It's a big task to take on, but one that will definitely be beneficial in the long run. My wife and I lived in Oklahoma about 9 years ago, when we only had our one son. We lived in a small town about an hour north of Dallas called Duncan, was kind of boring and we ended up only living there for about 6 months (had big troubles with spiders, which my wife hated) At the time, I was working for a company in Indianapolis that had an office in Lewisville which is just north of Dallas by the I35 split. All I really remember from that place is that it was hot, boring and had way too many creepy crawlies lol.. Anyhow, again welcome and I hope you enjoy your time here.
