Hello! I tried the above links, but since they are old the books are no longer available. Does anyone know of any other places to buy the HCA 220 book? I just don't want to spend almost 80 bucks on it if I don't have to. If not does someone have a free shipping code or something.
Thanks a million,

Jaim

Hello,
I am currently looking for the HCA220 book- Is it the one by Susan Turley- "Medical Language -Immerse Yourself" with the CDROM included. Is this the correct medical language package for the HCA220 course? Please let me know- Thanks Chrissy

Hey there Chrissy and Jaim ,

I am also using the Susan Turley Medical Language Book... I got it off Axia's bookstore... I can't remember the name of the bookstore but it is linked under the class itself...

Any titles on another good book to use as my second source anyone?

Hello there everyone,

I was given the name of another book called " Hole's Human Anatomy & Physiology " as a second source for this class.... It appears to be a pretty good suggestion! I am off to google !!! :D

Hi all,

The previous posts are from last year so I wanted to know if anyone had an update ISBN. I do not think the one posted is the one for this year. Thanks so much!

Ms. Wendy, is it possible to scan the book and share it with me so I can copy it myself from my computer? Scan it , download it and send it to me and then I can copy and print myself. Thanks. My email is stilldown2009@hotmail.com or LilHall717@gmail.com What do you think? Would that be possible?

I wanted to ask anyone if the book for this class is still the same. I start this class in a couple of weeks, so I wanted to be sure b4 I bought it. Also, I have read that it might be a good idea to get a 2nd book for reference. Could you advise of both please?

Thanks
Lisa

I agree, having a second book for a second source is a great idea and will be needed at some point. I actually didn't get the correct Medical Language book until my 3rd or 4th week, I used my book by Davi-Ellen Chabner until I got the right one. And it made a great reference tool through this class. I wish everyone the best and have fun, the class is worth all the effort put into it. Again, having a second book as a reference is a must and comes in very handy.

I just checked at Barnes n Noble .com and they have it there in edition 2 I got the version 1 and ver. 2 looks about the same. I purchase my copy from Barnes n. Noble .com 2 years ago. Its a good book to have. I am keeping mine .. There are quite a few books that I out right am keeping and not downloaded.. I ace that class with a "A".

By the way I went and got my associates degree in Pharmacy practices and gradurated last May and decided to continue on and go for my Bachelors of Science in Health care admin/ IT and will be finished this coming Feburary .
Good Luck..

I have kept both of my Medical language books, you never know when you will need it. Glad to hear how well you are doing and that you went on to get your Associates in Pharmacy practices. And I wish you the best as you complete your Bachelor's in Healthcare Admin/IT.....

I did very well in this class also and passed with an A. Something that made my day as I never did that well in school when I was younger. Attitude and wanting to finish makes all the difference in how we accomplish our goals. Congrats on how far you have got in your goals.
