Week 8 review Arguments and Morality

Postby Jesse on Nov 16th, 2008, 2:24 pm

I just finished week 8 of CRT 205 and I have to say it was better than previous weeks. I feel I am getting a good grasp on the materials, but I am also very much looking forward to this class being over next week.

In week 8 we dealt with arguments and morality, or how morality and moral issues affect our decision making process. We analyzed the Terri Schiavo case which brought up some really good discussions on issues about the right to life, utilitarianism and moral relativity.

I am holding a solid A in this class as of this point, so I hope I do well on my final project and this last weeks assignments. I would be really stoked if I could maintain grades like this throughout my college classes, but only time will tell :-)

The Schiavo Case sparked some rather heated debates in my class as well...

I too can't wait for this class to be over. I was able to bring my grade back up to 95.94%....if I can hold that line I will mantain the ever important 4.0...

Hello Sean and Jesse,

I am happy you two are almost done with these courses and are moving along successfully. Critical thinking is tough at times but can be very useful and valuable (at least I think so ). I know you guys will do very well in upcoming classes.

What is your next classes?

Anyway I wish you the best in week 9 and all other future classes.

Thank you for your support John!!

CRT 205 has been a challenge to say the least. However, I am thankful for what the class has taught me and how I have become a bit more "critical" of the the material I read now.

As for my next block, I will be entering my last COM class - COM 220 - and my first Business class - BUS 210. I am looking forward to both of them as well as the upcoming winter break!!
