If the assignment is still "Comprehensive Argument Analysis" then I can offer some assistance, I just hope it hasn't changed since I took the class. The steps seem to be a bit much if you lump them all together into one big pile, so breaking it down helped a lot for me. I first picked the topics I wanted to work with, then systematically went down the list of requirements for each topic one at a time. I found by breaking it up into smaller "chunks" the research portion went a lot better for me. In the end, make sure to completely and accurately fill out the appendix D for each topic, following the instructions, using proper grammar and formatting etc and you will do just fine.
I have a way of over analyzing things, so for me taking a step back and slowing down helped me a lot. I hope this helps you a bit, if you are still unclear or need more help please don't hesitate to post
